Mrs. Longley
Kindergarten
Room 104
Dear Parents and Guardians,
My name is Mrs. Longley and I will be your student’s teacher for the school year. I hope each of you had an enjoyable summer. I am looking forward to a very productive and exciting year in first grade, room 107. Throughout the school year, each student in our learning community will be working on different skills, including reading, writing and math. My goal is to ensure that each student is able to improve greatly in each area. High expectations have been set for your student. Together, we will work towards mastering those skills necessary for academic, personal and social success.
In order to create a positive learning environment so that we can achieve our goals for the year, I have developed the following expectations for all students.
Every day of school is a significant one, so it is very important that your child come to school every day and on time (school begins at 8:35am).
But most importantly, I want to stress the importance of open communication between you and myself. I believe that you know your student the best and any information or advice that you would like to provide will be appreciated. Please do not hesitate to contact me to set up a meeting. I am so excited to be working with your child and am ready for a great and productive year!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Longley
